Use: To allow organizations to recruit and support AmeriCorps members as they serve unmet community needs.

Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency: Youth Justice Advisory Board Council Pilot Program  (Funding Source: General Fund)

Who May Apply: Any agency currently implementing a youth engagement program including (but not limited to): Any private non-profit agency, public agency, or unit of local government.

Use: To establish and coordinate county-based Youth Justice Advisory Board Councils (YJAB-Cs) across the Commonwealth with the long-term goal to increase directly impacted youth voice and input in their communities and

with the youth-led subcommittee and the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Committee.

Funds: Up to $350,000 in total state funding to support between three or four organizations.

Pennsylvania Office of the State Fire Commissioner: Fire Company and Emergency Medical Services Grant Program  (Funding Source: State Gaming Fund, Property Tax Relief Fund, and Fireworks Tax)

Who May Apply: Eligible volunteer, municipal, and combination volunteer and municipal fire companies and eligible volunteer and career emergency medical services companies.

Use: To support fire and EMS companies in Pennsylvania.

Funds: Between $2,500-$15,000 for eligible fire companies and $2,500-$10,000 for eligible EMS companies.

Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency: 2023-2024 Standardized Program Evaluation Protocol (SPEP) Implementation Program  (Funding Source: General Fund)

Who May Apply: Non-profit entities and institutions of higher education.

Use: To evaluate the quality of services provided to system involved youth, assist providers in the development and implementation of a quality improvement plan, then reassessing the service again to look for positive changes in service delivery.

Funds: PCCD expects to fund one grant, with a budget not to exceed $2,000,000 over the 24-month project period, with a limit of $1,000,000 for each year.

Use: To provide holistic reentry services to assist women in their return to communities across Pennsylvania.

Funds: PCCD expects to fund twenty grants with budgets not to exceed $100,000 over the 12-month project period.

Foundation for Opioid Response Efforts: Community-Driven Responses to Opioid Use Disorder and Overdose Mortality Program  (Funding Source: Foundation Funding)

Who May Apply: Non-profit organizations providing a range of social- and/or health-related services within a given geographic area, Recovery Community Organizations, and community coalitions/partnership.

Use: To support community-based organizations’ (CBO) capacity to reduce opioid use disorder (OUD) and overdose mortality.

DHS Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) Quality Improvement Program: December 31, 2022 or until funds are expended  (Funding Source: Federal Funding)

  • An entity enrolled with the Department’s OLTL as a Medical Assistance provider type 59 and have a signed OLTL-HCBS Waiver Agreement and be actively rendering services to participants in the CHC or OBRA waiver programs or both as of the date of May 1, 2022. - To help HCBS providers implement projects to improve the quality of services provided to individuals in the CHC and the OBRA waiver programs.
